Snowbird Resort open on July 4th

Snowbird Resort is planning to celebrate Independence Day with skiing and snowboarding. 

The resort announced yesterday that it will have both activities next Thursday, which will be the final day of the ski season at Snowbird. 

Snow-related activities will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon on July 4th. 

It's the first time the resort has had skiing on Independence Day since 2011
