Employees at Snowbird Ski Resort are getting a few groceries to tide them over during the coronavirus emergency. 

Snowbird spokesman Brian Brown said the resort had stocked a lot of food to be ready for a busy March.

So the resort decided over the weekend to give a box of groceries to full and part-time staff members who have been left without jobs because of the shutdown. 

The resort will continue to pay employees through Friday.Brown said the resort is doing everything it can to help employees make it through the unexpected shutdown.
