Southwest Utah may be in for a difficult summer as far as water is concerned

Zach Renstrom from the Water Conservancy District was on the Andy Griffin show last week.

Andy asks Renstrom if we are in a good place with our watershed right now. 

Renstrom explains that we are not where we need to be right now.

The Water Conservancy district uses something called a SNOTEL site, (Snow Telemetry (SNOTEL) and Snow Course Data and Products).

Renstrom tells how the SNOTEL site works.

Renstrom talks about the results of the SNOTEL site as of the 23^rd of December.
