St. George man arrested for indecent exposure to children

A St. George man is in custody, after officers decided a series of indecent-exposure incidents made him a threat to the public.

Sixty-five-year-old Alexander J. Stewart exposed himself to three children on Saturday at an apartment complex, according to arresting documents.

Witnesses told officers that Stewart had exposed himself to children repeatedly over a period of two years.

Stewart told detectives he was just taking a leak in his yard.

Last year Stewart was charged with forcible sex abuse after assaulting a home health-care provider.
