SUU detailing student athlete safety measures
Southern Utah University is detailing their safety measures for student-athlete workouts as the programs gradually reopens through a video they posted on Youtube.
SUU Deputy Athletic Director, Todd Brown, says they have worked tirelessly to provide the best and safest way to get student-athletes back on campus within the next couple of weeks with a thorough list of guidelines.
The video focused on measures such as practicing good hygiene, wearing masks, maintaining social distance, being on time for scheduled workouts, daily temperature checks and cross contamination prevention methods.
The first phase began earlier this week with a mandatory quarantine for athletes, then phase two will start on June 22nd for which will bring football, men's basketball, gymnastics, soccer and volleyball athletes back to campus.
