Utah lawmakers who are part of a tax reform task force are set to begin sorting through the alternatives available to them next week.

House Majority Leader Francis Gibson says the members of Tax Restructuring and Equalization Task Force will discuss several options when they hold a study session at the State Capitol building Monday at 4:30 p.m.

The meeting will be livestreamed on le.utah.gov for those who cannot attend.

Public input on tax reform is still being accepted at StrongerFutures.utah.gov.

Gibson says there may not be enough support from other Utah lawmakers to move forward with any tax code changes.
