The 2020 legislative session has begun at the Utah State Capitol.

More than 250 bills have already been filed and more are sure to come during the 45-day session.

The bill at the top of the list is House Bill 185, which would repeal the tax reform package approved by state lawmakers last month.

Those changes would have lowered income taxes, while raising sales taxes and placing new taxes to various services.

The repeal from state lawmakers comes as a referendum to reverse the move appeared poised to land on the 2020 ballot.
