U.S. Honor Flag in Utah for funeral of fallen police officer

A special flag saluting the sacrifice of those who protect the United States is now in Utah for the funeral of a police officer. 

The U.S. Honor Flag arrived at Salt Lake City International Airport yesterday on its way to Ogden for the funeral of Officer Nathan Lyday.

Chris Heisler travels around the country with the flag, which has been displayed at events honoring fallen soldiers and law enforcement officers for more than a decade.  It will remain in Ogden until Officer Lyday's funeral tomorrow.

While Lyday had only been a police officer for 15 months, Heisler says his brief tenure doesn't diminish his sacrifice.
