Tax revenue losses caused by the coronavirus pandemic are forcing UDOT to slash its budget for highway cleanup.

UDOT officials say the cuts mean garbage and roadkill removal on the highways will be slower than usual.

The cuts have also delayed plans to purchase three replacement snow plows.
