United Way Dixie and United Way of Central and Southern Utah are seeking funds for vital programs impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

United Way Dixie Executive Director, Rebekah Pectol, says their COVID-19 Community Response Fund is receiving some donations, but some of the state's most vulnerable counties are not seeing as much.

They're reporting an influx of calls for rent and house payment assistance. Petcol is worried about a ricochet effect after Governor Gary Herbert ordered a moratorium on evictions until May 15th and she says that payments can pile up, making the problem worse.
