Update: Driver killed in vehicle vs horse on I-15 near Leeds identified

Police have identified the woman who died early Thursday morning after striking a horse that was on I-15 in Washington County.

Thiry year old Jessica M. Deane was traveling northbound on I-15 at approximately 1:30 am when she was killed.

According to Utah Highway Patrol Troopers, Deane, who is originally from New Jersey, was a student attending medical school at Rocky Vista University in Ivins.
