Utah hunters to hunt more deer

Utah hunters will get the chance to hunt more mule deer starting in 2020.

The Division of Wildlife Resources approved new guidelines for the hunts.

The changes include expanded antlerless deer hunts in order to better control the population.

Part of the reason for the changes has to do with outbreaks of Chronic Wasting Disease.

Biologist believe expanding mule deer quotas may help slow the spread.
