Utah’s population growth is booming

Population growth in Utah outpaced all other states in the country this decade.

New numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau show that Utah's population rose 16-percent to just over three-point-two-million people.

Experts believe the state's booming economy is largely responsible for that growth.

Texas was the second-fastest growing state in that time, followed by Colorado.
