A Utah man who was allowed to legally keep a bump stock after a nationwide ban on the gun accessory has been told he has to turn it over to federal authorities.

The Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver decided yesterday to lift a temporary injunction that had allowed Clark Aposhian to keep his bump stock.

Aposhian, who is chairman of the Utah Shooting Sports Council, is suing the Department of Justice and the ATF over the ban on bump stocks.

The court's decision lifting the injunction means Aposhian must turn over the bump stock by Monday, though he would get it back if he wins his case.
