Utah ready to help renters avoid evictions

The State of Utah is ready to step up to help renters avoid evictions. 

The Department of Workforce Services announced rental assistance is available for people who are losing the six-hundred dollars in weekly federal unemployment aid. 

The Utah Housing Coalition says the federal moratorium on evictions has ended, which could lead to a surge of people losing their homes amid a high unemployment rate.
