Two veterans are already planning their next climb after making it to the top of Mount Timpanogos over the weekend.

John Nelson carried his friend and fellow veteran Jonathon Blank to the top of the nearly 12-thousand-foot tall mountain Saturday.

Nelson and Blank both served in the Marines in Afghanistan, where Blank lost his legs in combat.

Nelson carried Blank more than 14 miles to reach the top of the mountain.

On Veterans Day, the pair plans to climb Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in California. Blank says he hopes the teamwork showed by the pair can inspire others.
