Veterans honored in North Ogden

Active-duty military, veterans and those who have died while serving their country are being honored in North Ogden.

Jennie Taylor said yesterday that she's still coping with the death of her husband, Major Brent Taylor.

A ceremony to recognize those who have served was held yesterday on the first anniversary of the death of Taylor, who was killed while deployed to Afghanistan.

In addition to the ceremony, a field of honor featuring 320 American flags has been set up outside North Ogden City Hall and will remain there this week.

Each flag represents one current or former member of the military from the area.
