Santa Clara-Ivins police are confirming they arrested a Washington City woman after a homeowner woke up to her in their child's room early Saturday.

Santa Clara-Ivins Police Sergeant Reed Briggs says the family were awakened by noise coming from their child's bedroom and allegedly saw the 24-year-old woman pulling on the kid's arm before she began fighting them. Once the family dragged her out of their home, police officers caught up to the suspect, and she allegedly began to fight with them before she was detained.

The report also mentions she smelled strongly of alcohol.
