Zion Narrows will remain open to hikers

A land deal will keep the Zion Narrows in Zion National Park open to hikers forever.

The Trust for Public Land orchestrated a one-point-five-million-dollar agreement between private, state and federal stakeholders to allow the 16-mile trail to remain open.

The trail starts outside the park and passes through private property before continuing into Zion Canyon.
