The state's election results can finally be certified one month after the primaries. 

Final numbers from the Utah Elections Office show that Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox defeated former Governor Jon Huntsman by just over 63-hundred votes in the Republican primary for the governor's race. 

Democrats and Republicans both had close contests for the First Congressional District. 

Darren Parry secured the Democratic bid by just 425 votes, while Blake Moore won his nomination by less than three-thousand votes.
