A former bishop for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will spend four months in jail after he was convicted on misdemeanor sexual misconduct charges.

Under his sentence, he will spend four years on probation upon his release.

An LDS Church spokesman says Head was immediately removed as bishop last year when the allegations arose.
