Former Bishop sentenced in sexual misconduct charges
A former bishop for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will spend four months in jail after he was convicted on misdemeanor sexual misconduct charges.
Fifty-four-year-old Jeffrey Head of Draper was charged with assaulting a teen boy from his ward when he visited him following a surgery.
Under his sentence, he will spend four years on probation upon his release.
An LDS Church spokesman says Head was immediately removed as bishop last year when the allegations arose.
