Former LDS Chapel Could Become St. George Fire Station
(St. George, UT) -- St. George Fire Chief Robert Stoker says a former Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple could be repurposed as the city's Fire Station 1. The city has agreed to purchase the temple for just over one-million-dollars and will tear it down. The chapel has been closed since 2021 due to structural issues and has been fenced off.
