Southern Utah’s FUNNEST PLACES To Take Your Kids!
St. George Children's Museum:
The Children's Museum IS A HIT for kids from about 1-10 years. I took my son there last year when he was 1, and I was worried he wouldn't have fun. HE HAD A BLAST! There's tons of different rooms to have fun in! My favorite is the grocery store! It brings me back to when I was a kid, and I wish I would've had the museum when I was a kid! Every room has a new theme and they're all fun, and you can even learn something along the way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum:
Last year, I also took my one year old son to the Wildlife Museum! We had fun. There's seriously TONS of taxidermy exotic animals that I've never seen in real life! They have just about EVERYTHING. Every time I've been, it's never been packed with people. It's quiet. It's interesting. Your kids will love it, if they love animals!
Town Square Splash Pad:
This one is incredibly obvious on a hot summer day! It's totally free! Let your kids go play in the water. They can splash around, run in the grass, and even ride a carousel! Tons of fun! They'll fall asleep on the drive home for sure!
St. George Dinosaur Discover Site:
This one has been around for a while! I remember when these dinosaur tracks were discovered in the late 90s! There's real fossils and real dinosaur tracks. This would be more interesting if your kids are a little older. NOT toddlers. Maybe 8-12?
Thunder Junction All-Abilities Park:
Last but DEF NOT LEAST! Thunder Junction! This park is the best in town. It's so much fun, and an All-Abilities park! So ANYONE can come play! It's dinosaur themed, there's a train that you can buy tickets to ride, even a splash pad! TONS of fun games and things to play on! It's honestly the best. Your kids will NOT want to leave, though. You've been warned!
NEW STORE ALERT! And it's... AMAZING!
