The TOP 5 Utah Cities People Are FLEEING in Droves!
Doesn't it feel like EVERYBODY is moving to Utah? We're all here wondering the same thing: "Where are all these people going to go?" It might surprise you to learn that there are also people moving OUT of Utah, the exact way people are moving in!
Here are the top 5 towns in Utah that people are fleeing:
DRAPER:
#1 on this list is totally surprising: Draper! Draper is a gorgeous place, very safe, and seems like an amazing place to raise a family. However, with the prices of everything increasing, it seems that people are getting forced out!
MURRAY:
Coming in at #2, with no surprise at all, Murray has been in the news again for more gun violence. In the past year there has been multiple murders, including a drive-by shooting, killing a 19 year old man, and paralyzing a 14 year old boy. The view of the mountains is gorgeous in Murray, but it's not worth the violence.
TAYLORSVILLE:
Coming in at #3 is Taylorsville, and every year in Taylorsville, there's around 130 violent crimes. There's also over 1600 property crimes in Taylorsville, and it's less safe that 89% of the other US cities.
WEST VALLEY:
Another city that I'm not surprised is on this list is West Valley City. It's one of the most dangerous cities in the Salt Lake Valley, and for that reason, it's sending people packing.
SANDY:
Coming in at #5 and maybe the most surprising is Sandy! Sandy is a gorgeous place, has incredible views of the mountains. They've also got great schools, and some really nice people. However, this could be the same issue with Draper. The expensive prices are probably edging everybody out of town!
