What is the world does a mini fridge have to do with making people cry?
This is a story about an amazing community coming together to help out those who need a little extra help. Big hearts and a little ingenuity go a long way.
This is The Blessing Box. It is located somewhere in Hurricane, Utah.

The concept is really cool. If you are in a little bit of a bind you can run to the blessing box and see if there is anything you need in the mini fridge or the box.

It looks like a very small concession stand, but it holds things like eggs, toiletries, baby items or things you might need in your pantry.

I love the idea of a neighborhood taking care of it's own. It is so heart warming. What a great set of rules to follow. It's like a life mantra. No Shaming!

I also love the idea of when I have too much for my family to use that it can be put to good use. When our garden is in full swing I am sure there will be plenty to share. and not just zucchini. 😂

I love that there is a spot for chicken scraps. So many people do not know that certain scraps from your dinner table can be given to chickens to ease the feeding burden. My mom is now a pro at this. She collects plenty of food for my chickens. They are spoiled and wont eat regular feed because they get so many veggies from my mom. hahahah

There is even a request sheet if there is something you really need that may be provided by someone else. It is seriously a great concept that I hope catches on. Let's take care of each other. If we start with the people we know and live by, we could take care of a lot of temporary problems ourselves with very little stress and no shaming.
This info was given by Alexandra Ashby. She Posted in a Moms Helping Moms facebook page. It made me tear up when I read it and some of the comments on the post. Thank you Alexandra! ♥♥♥ You are inspiring us all.
