FULL STATE PREDICTIONS FOR WINTER:

The Old Farmer’s Almanac is forecasting a "mild, snowy" winter for Utah in 2024. Expect warmer-than-usual temperatures, along with average or higher-than-average precipitation and snowfall.

Temperature
Temperatures are predicted to be above normal overall, with the chilliest stretches occurring in late November and late January.

Precipitation
Precipitation and snowfall are expected to be average to above-average, with the heaviest snowfall predicted in mid-November, early and late January, and mid-March.

The Almanac also forecasts that the southwestern states, including Utah, will experience typical temperatures and precipitation levels, potentially offering relief from the intense atmospheric rivers seen last winter.
