Jon Huntsman returning to Utah

U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman leaves his post tomorrow, and is reflecting on his tenure.

In a Facebook post, Huntsman frankly states that U.S.-Russia relations have only seen "marginal improvement" during his two years in the country.

He also thanked diplomats and state department workers who helped try to improve the situation, saying without them there is no telling "how bad things could have been."

The former Utah governor is expected to return to the state and potentially launch another bid for his former office.
