Missing World War Two Pilot Returned to Utah
The remains of a World War Two pilot who disappeared while flying over Germany are now back with his family in Utah.
Mary Ann Hadfield-Turner said yesterday that she can't believe her father's remains have finally returned home.
Second Lieutenant Lynn Hadfield of Salt Lake City disappeared on March 21st, 1945 after his plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire during a combat mission.
He will be buried with honors on Thursday, the 74th anniversary of his disappearance.
Hadfield-Turner was just two-years-old when her father disappeared during World War Two.
