A new study says the number of rapes and sexual assaults in Utah dropped last year, but the state still ranks eleventh nationwide for most rapes per capita.

The study from an organization called Social Catfish used FBI crime data.  According to the study, last year, Utah recorded a little more than 55 rapes per 100-thousand residents.

The Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network says eight of every ten victims are assaulted by someone they know.
