New legislation could create a new state park at the site of one of Utah's largest dinosaur fossil digs.

House Bill 322 from Republican Representative Steve Eliason would create "Utahraptor State Park" in the Dalton Wells area north of Moab, near Arches National Park.

The park is named after Utah's famed official dinosaur, the Utahraptor, whose remains have been discovered in the Dalton Wells area since 1975.

If passed, the park would cost $10 million.
