When it comes to the quality of Utah's roads, the Beehive State ranks among the best in the country.

A new survey from Consumer Reports says Utah has the eighth-best road conditions in the U.S.

Researchers looked at several factors, including the amount of money spent per mile, the number of fatal crashes per mile, and an email survey asking residents to rate their roads.

Wyoming was ranked best in the nation, followed by Kansas and Minnesota.

South Carolina was ranked the worst.
