(Williamsport, PA)  --  The father of a Utah little leaguer is encouraged by the progress his son is making after a fall in Pennsylvania. Jace Oliverson says his son Easton was off oxygen yesterday, and was able to talk and sit up in a chair. The 12-year-old fell from a bunk Sunday night, injuring his head severely enough to require surgery. Easton's ten-year-old brother has been picked to fill the open spot on the team roster caused by his injury. The Snow Canyon team is scheduled to play their first game in the Little League World Series tomorrow.

(Williamsport, PA)  --  A Snow Canyon Little League baseball player from Santa Clara remains in intensive care at a Pennsylvania hospital after he fell off the top of a bunk bed at the Little League World Series dormitory. Easton Oliverson fell about six feet either late Sunday night or early Monday morning. He was flown to Geisinger Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania about 40 miles away from Williamsport. He has skull and cheekbone fractures along with bleeding between the outer covering of his brain and the inside of his skull.
