Slain Los Angeles County Deputy laid to rest

A fallen deputy has been laid to rest. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Joseph Solano was shot and killed earlier this month.

His longtime girlfriend Julianna Loza told a packed church in Downtown LA yesterday that Solano was a wonderful man.

Solano was off-duty when he was shot in the back of the head in what investigators call an unprovoked attack.

The suspected killer, Rhett Nelson of St. George, Utah, is now in custody.

Investigators also believe he shot and killed a famous Russian snowboarder in a different attack.
