Southern Utah Wallets Beware! The Video Game Industry is on a Roll
Parents beware, your wallets are in danger of emptying at a rapid rate if you’re children are into video games in 2023.
The video game industry has been killing it in 2023 with some of the biggest releases in the industry ever being released in the past couple of months.
If your family owns a Nintendo Switch, then you may not have quite as much to worry about for your wallet, but there is a lot of solid releases that have been selling like hot cakes that your kids may be chomping at the bit to get their hands on.
Releases like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, and the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder in October have been leading the charge for sales in the industry, and they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
If you’re kid wants a PlayStation 5 for the holiday season, they’re probably excited for Marvel’s Spider Man 2 which is an exclusive to the console. The library of PS5 games continues to grow as well with Baldur’s Gate 3 just releasing to record high critical reception.
If you’re kids are wanting a new Xbox this holiday season, there are some options that may prevent you from taking out a second mortgage.
Xbox Series X is the premium console that’s top of the line for the Microsoft based hardware, but Xbox Series S is a solid/cheaper alternative if you’re looking to get your kids an Xbox.
The reason they may want an Xbox may have to do with Starfield, which is arguably the biggest Xbox exclusive title in recent years.
Regardless of what you’re kids are hoping for this holiday season, be sure to do your research and be ready to make the right financial decisions…because my wallet is nearing empty as well.
