St. George man found naked in a Washington City field on Monday morning

A St. George man was found lying naked in a field in Washington City on Monday morning and is now facing felony lewdness and failing to register as a sex offender. He was taken to the hospital where he was admitted and diagnosed with hypothermia.  He was booked into jail 2 days later.

On Monday morning officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Sandia Road in Washington Fields.  According to a charging reports, the the car looked out of place and several doors were left open on the vehicle.

A registration check on the vehicle showed the car was registered to a 52-year-old St. George resident David Nicholas King, a felon with an active warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.
