Heavy and intense rain across St. George earlier this week has brought damage to the area. At least two locations have been closed on the Virgin River North Trail as the flooding waters have washed away parts of the pavement. According to The Weather Channel Website flooding could continue through Saturday August 19th.

Flood watch continues in southern Utah as the thunderstorms continued this week. All of the Snow on the mountains is coming down and it's making our water ways expand and flood.

Be prepared...all that snow that we've accumulated for the last few months is gonna come down from the mountains in a hurry.

Gunlock Falls, it really is a gorgeous oasis in the desert. ♥ With the inordinate amount of water southern Utah is receiving, there is plenty of flooding and waterfalls to be aware of.

With the record snow and rainfall Utah is having in January 2023, comes some dangerous conditions. Flooding roadways, structures and homes and creating a muddy mess.
