Two Bills Put on Hold to Redesign Utah’s Flag

Two bills aimed at redesigning Utah's flag are being put on hold. 

The House Government Operations Committee failed to advance either bill after a hearing yesterday. 

One bill that would have created a commission to help redesign the flag but was put on hold so it could be modified. 

A committee adjourned before voting on a second bill that offered a new design for the flag, so that bill probably won't be considered again this year.
