U.S District Judge Wants Survey Determining if Girls Want to Play Tackle Football
A U.S. District Court judge is ordering lawyers to come up with a survey to determine if girls really want to play tackle football in two Utah school districts.
The Granite and Canyons school districts have been sued by a group of girls who say they want to form a football team.
They allege the school districts have violated their rights under Title Nine by denying them permission.
The judge announced yesterday that lawyers on both sides need to meet within three weeks to develop questions for a survey that will be given to girls in those districts.
