Live Long. Live Well launches survey intended to gauge health and wellness needs of Southern Utah residents
Dixie State University, The Institute for Continued Learning, the City of St. George and Intermountain Healthcare have formed a program called Live Long. Live Well (Live!), to help people 50 and over maximize their health, longevity and well-being.
“St. George is a place with unlimited resources for outdoor activity filled with people who believe in healthy living,” said Rob Kramer, ICL Director and Chairman of the Live Long. Live Well program.
“Live! is designed to take life satisfaction and longevity to the next level.”
Live! recently released an online survey to assess aspects of physical health, cognitive well-being and social and emotional connectivity among residents in Washington County.
The survey also collects information on awareness and use of community resources that support longevity and well-being for people of all ages.
This research study is conducted by Dr. Nancy Hauck, PhD, Associate Provost of Community & Global Engagement at Dixie State University, Dr. Jeremy Yorgason and Melanie Serrao Hill in the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University in partnership with Live Long. Live Well.
Those 18 and older residing in Washington County are eligible to take the survey.
“The survey takes approximately 10 minutes and the data collected will help us assess what our community’s needs are,” Kramer added.
