Utah House Speaker Brad Wilson says education, transportation and housing affordability are the top priorities for Republicans heading into the next session of the legislature.

Wilson also said yesterday there are no big tax bills planned after lawmakers passed a huge tax reform passage during a special session last month.

He also called for more efforts to preserve the outdoors in Utah in light of the increasing number of people visiting and using the state's parks and trails.

Over 11-hundred bills have already been filed ahead of next week's session.
