Citation issued thanking President Trump for efforts in Utah

A citation thanking President Trump for his efforts to help Utah is on its way to the White House.

House Speaker Brad Wilson and Senate President Stuart Adams issued the citation yesterday.

There was no formal presentation of the citation on the floor of either chamber of the legislature.

Democratic lawmakers were critical of the citation, saying Republicans broke House and Senate rules by issuing the recognition to someone who doesn't live in Utah.
