Utah is the best state in the country in terms of traffic deaths related to drunk driving.

According to new numbers from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Beehive State has 52 DUI deaths annually, giving Utah the lowest percentage of traffic deaths where alcohol is involved.

However, Utah only earned three-out-of-five-star rating from MADD for preventing drunk driving deaths.

The advocacy group recommends that law enforcement agencies conduct monthly sobriety checkpoints to improve.
