Utah’s Governor could decide today in lowering Covid-19 alert level
Governor Herbert could announce his decision on lowering the state's COVID-19 risk level today.
The governor's previous orders lowering the risk level for most of the state to yellow expires today.
A panel of state lawmakers voted earlier this week to recommend that most of the state move to the green or lowest risk level.
However, the state epidemiologist has said the state has experienced a spike in COVID-19 cases and she does not recommend moving to green just yet.
