Agriculture and Food Commissioner running for Congress

Utah's Agriculture and Food Commissioner is running for Congress.

Kerry Gibson resigned yesterday and intends to run for the First District congressional seat currently held by Representative Rob Bishop.

Bishop intends to retire at the end of his current term.

Six other candidates are already seeking the Republican nomination for that seat.
