(Salt Lake City, UT) -- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will cut back on water used for lawns and landscapes. Church officials say meetinghouses, temples and other buildings across the American West will reduce water use due to persisting drought conditions. All church buildings constructed in the early 2000s and beyond switched to water-wise irrigation and low-flow plumbing systems.
