Church to allow local wards to meet again in the state

The Utah Area Presidency for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will allow local wards to meet again in the state. 

In a letter sent to Utah leaders, the area presidency approved all Utah wards to enter into the first phase in the church's plan to hold in-person meetings. 

The presidency has also issued other guidelines, encouraging members to wear masks in meetinghouses. 

There are also added precautions to administer the sacrament, including the use of extra trays to fully separate bread pieces and water cups.
