City Council Protests Mark New HBO Show on STG’s LGBTQ Community

(St. George, UT) -- HBO will start shooting the series "We're Here" in St. George today as the show hosts drag shows and discussions in politically conservative parts of the country. At the city council meeting last night, LGBTQ members and allies voiced their concerns with the dressing room being moved a block away and open opposition of the show and Pride Month by some council members. Several said they have never felt safe in St. George.
