Daylight Savings Time bill moving forward
Utahns who don't want to change their clocks twice a year may be cheered up by a bill emerging from this year's legislature.
The House passed a bill yesterday that will keep Utah on Daylight Saving Time permanently, sending it to Governor Herbert for final approval.
There is a catch, though.
Even if the governor signs it, Congress will have to pass a bill that allows states to stay on Daylight Saving Time all year.
Then four other Western states would have to pass similar measures.
