The Utah Department of Health says it is prepared for any potential coronavirus cases that may come to the state.

State Epidemiologist Dr. Angela Dunn says her agency is constantly checking into reports of possible coronavirus in the state.

Dunn stresses that the risk to Utahn's is low at this time, but adds that the situation is constantly changing.

Five cases of the virus, believed to have originated in China, have been detected in four states including now in Las Vegas Nevada.

However, the CDC says there is no evidence of person-to-person transmission in the U.S. Dr. Angela Dunn says a few simple precautions can help prevent the spread of the virus.
