Former Salt Lake County Mayor dies

Former Salt Lake County Mayor Nancy Workman has died.  The 79-year-old died last week in St. George. 

Workman was the first person to be elected mayor of the county after it switched to a council-mayor form of government in 2000. 

She served one term and is still the only Republican to ever have been elected mayor of the county.
